Young Adults

Life transitions are difficult

Young adulthood can be a challenging time for many people, as they navigate a number of significant life transitions and face a range of mental health challenges. In this stage of life, individuals may be transitioning from high school to college, from college to the professional world, and may also be dealing with issues related to self-esteem, relationships, and setting personal boundaries in addition to general stress and more pervasive health disorders such and anxiety, depression or relational distress.

One of the biggest challenges for young adults during the transition from high school to college is adjusting to a new environment and the increased responsibilities that come with it. For some, this can be an exciting time, but for others, it can be a difficult and overwhelming period. College students may struggle with homesickness, academic pressure, and social anxiety. These challenges can impact their mental health and overall well-being.

For young professionals, the transition from college to the professional world can also be difficult for many young adults, who may face challenges such as job insecurity, financial stress, and navigating professional relationships. They may also struggle with defining and maintaining healthy boundaries in their work and personal lives.

Whatever has brought you to therapy I am here to help you build and grow through these challenges.
